Ciconia Ciconia was an interesting story. The author could bring us to the story's world and we as the reader could know the feel how the story talked about.
Ciconia Ciconia was a story of a white stork that lived happy in his homeland. He felt joy, calm and quiet in that place. The place was Croatia and he built his nest on high place (a chimey). The place was just a small village surrounded by sunfolwers. He loved his homeland very much. But, one day his homeland was destroyed by a war. Suddenly the white stork lost his beautiful homeland. He felt so sad and flew away to find a new place.
After long day and night the white stork saw a city with a skyscraper. He sat on one of the skyscrapers. He felt so tired and wanted to sleep. Suddenly a noise woke him up. There was a big bird metal (airplane). When he knew that he could not sleep in that place, the white stork flew again but there was no quiet place. The night and the day in the city was very noise and very crowded. The white stork did not wanted that place. He missed his old quiet homeland.
The white stork flew again wished he would find a new place but he couldn't. On his way he found a place that called "Internet Cafe". There was many children, one of them opened a picture that showed a picture a white stork who lived in Cigoc Ciconia.
The white stork felt happy and flew again to that place. In that place there was a flock of stork. He met his new friends. The place was very calm and quite. There was no war and he felt happy.
The story taught us that a war was not good for life. We as human would lost our happiness and the important thing was our homeland. There was no the best place except our homeland. Because in our homeland we could find a joy not like a city which was full of noise.
That was very good story for children. With this story they would know that a war just took us to a world of sadness and loneliness. Just happiness could make us felt warm and home.
